[China Glass Net] Vacuum glass is a new type of glass deep processing product, and its own and related technologies are still in the process of continuous development and improvement. At present, more one-step production process is adopted, that is, vacuum glass is formed in a heating-cooling process. In contrast to the one-step method, there is a two-step process. The main difference between the two is that the edge sealing process and the evacuation sealing process are completed in two heating steps. The latter is mainly used to produce "notched" vacuum glass with a smooth outer surface. The main equipment for manufacturing vacuum glass is a "double-sealed furnace" evolved from a common hot-blast stove. Considering that the low-e film layer in vacuum glass has a high reflectivity to infrared radiation, it is not conducive to large-area heating between two pieces of glass. Convection heating and radiant heating should be taken in the heating mode. In order to enhance the heating between the two pieces of glass with poor heat transfer conditions, an infrared radiant panel coated with a special coating may be added to the rack. In addition, the box-shaped structure of the double-sealed furnace is easy to form a high-temperature belt around the four sides of the glass, which causes the glass to be deformed and warped; and it is much more difficult to eliminate the temperature unevenness on the large plane than to eliminate the unevenness in the thickness. Therefore, the addition of an infrared radiant panel between the two sheets of glass helps to eliminate this deformation. It is tested that 2~15mm thick glass has an infrared absorption rate of more than 90% for 1.5~15μm, and almost complete absorption of infrared rays in a longer wavelength band. In recent years, the application practice of far-infrared energy-saving technology has proved that using far-infrared heating technology can save about 30% of electricity.
